Media Terminology

Corporate ID - Is the persona of a corporation that is designed to accord with and facilitate the attainment of business objectives. It is usually visibly manifested by way of branding and the use of trademarks.

Typography - is the art and technique of arranging type, type design, and modifying type glyphs. Type glyphs are created and modified using a variety of illustration techniques.

Design Brief - This is a briefment if what you will need to design.

Font - This is different types of writing styles

Colour - This is a visual attribute of things that results from the light they emit or transmit or reflect.

Layout - This is an arangement for what you want to do for your work?

Copyright - This is a form of intellectual property that gives the author of an original work exclusive right for a certain time period in relation to that work, including its publication, distribution and adaptation, after which time the work is said to enter the public domain.

Job Costing - is the process of tracking the expenses incurred on a job against the revenue produced by that job.

Fee Setting - This is a client and company agreeing on how much something is going to cost them
